- The structure of GYTA53 optical cable is to encase multimode optical fibers in a loose tube made of high-modulus plastic, with a waterproof compound filling the tube. The center of the cable core is a metal strength member.For certain fiber counts of the optical cable, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is also extruded over the metal strength member.
- The loose tube (and filling rope) is twisted around the central strength member to form a compact and round cable core, with the gaps inside the cable core filled with water-blocking filler. After longitudinally wrapping with coated aluminum tape (APL), a layer of polyethylene inner sheath is extruded.After longitudinally wrapping with double-sided coated steel tape (PSP), the polyethylene sheath is formed.

- Precise control of the fiber optic cable's excess length ensures that the cable has excellent tensile strength and temperature characteristics. The loose tube material itself has good hydrolysis resistance and high strength, and the tube is filled with a special oil paste, providing critical protection for the fiber optic. It also has good compressive strength and flexibility.
- The following measures are taken to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cable: a single steel wire center reinforcement core, the loose tube filled with a special waterproof compound, fully filled cable core with plastic-coated aluminum tape (APL) moisture-proof layer, double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) to enhance the cable's moisture resistance, and good water-blocking materials to prevent longitudinal water ingress in the cable.
- Suitable for outdoor direct burial, pipelines, and overhead.
- Commonly used custom core counts: 4-6 cores, 8-12 cores, 14-18 cores, 20-24 cores, 26-30 cores, 32-36 cores, 38-42 cores, 44-48 cores, 50-60 cores, 62-72 cores, 74-84 cores, 86-96 cores, 98-108 cores, 110-120 cores, 122-132 cores, 134-144 cores, 146-216 cores.
