  • The optoelectronic integrated box provides support for signal coverage on the main roads of future cities and integrates with existing urban facilities. It can be applied in residential communities, alleyways, commercial dense areas, and underground parking lots. The optoelectronic integrated box combines traditional AC distribution boxes and fiber optic distribution boxes, effectively addressing the construction needs of micro base station supporting equipment and meeting municipal beautification requirements.

  • Demand for optical cable distribution and AC power distribution for small micro base stations
     
    With the transformation of telecom operators' 4G network construction model and the enhancement of wireless frequency, an increasing number of rapidly constructed small micro base stations have replaced traditional macro base stations, presenting new characteristics and new demands:
     
    Transitioning from primarily addressing coverage needs to ensuring user communication capacity;
     
    In the case of primarily ensuring capacity, small micro base stations powered by AC supply do not require UPS configuration;
     
    The introduction of external power supply for small micro base stations requires lightning surge protection and power adaptation for each remote RRU;
     
    The interface adaptation of optical cables entering and exiting small micro base stations and remote RRUs requires fusion splicing trays and ODF;
     
    Based on this, the optical-electrical integrated box for small micro base stations with AC input has emerged.
     
    1. Lightning protection of the optical-electrical integrated box
     
    According to the different climatic conditions of various provinces and cities and the surrounding environment of small micro base stations, surge protection presents different demands:
     
    Standard configuration: Class B SPD surge protection device, using 1+1 protection mode (L-N, N-PE protection mode), capable of withstanding impacts ranging from 20KA to 80KA with 8/20μS;
     
    Optional: Isolated lightning protector (series lightning surge suppressor, high impedance unit), in compliance with national standard YD/T 3007-2016.
     
    2. Power distribution of the optical-electrical integrated box
     
    Depending on the configuration of the small micro base station, the input and output power distribution also presents different requirements:
     
    Standard configuration: one 2P AC input miniature circuit breaker, at least three, or six 1P output miniature circuit breakers; used for the power distribution of three remote RRUs or six remote RRUs;
     
    Optional: Single-phase single-loop electric meter, or reserved space for electric meter installation.
     
    3. ODF of the optical-electrical integrated box
     
    Optical fiber connector: using standard SC/PC (SC/UPC) type or standard FC/PC (FC/UPC) type;
     
    Fusion splicing tray: at least 12-core fusion splicing tray, made of ABS material;
     
    ODF terminal module: 12-core ODF terminal module, adapter type FC/SC optional, includes 0.8m long 12-core tail fiber;
     
    Tail fiber tray: reserved enough space for convenient storage of optical cable terminals and tail fibers.
     
    4. Structure of the optical-electrical integrated box
     
    Box material: made of high-quality cold-rolled steel plate or S304 stainless steel;
     
    Entry and exit method: downward entry, downward exit, independent, insulated protection for optical cable and power cable input/output ports;
     
    Internal structure: partitioned or layered design, optical/electrical parts use insulated isolation boards, mutually unaffected;
     
    Flame retardant and insulation performance: the flame retardant level of the optical-electrical integrated box meets V-0 level requirements, and the flame retardant level and insulation performance of the connecting wires meet national standards;
     
    Protection level: IP55.
